Annette Jones, DVM
Dr. Jones's Bio
Dr. Annette Jones is the hospital director of Bayview Animal Hospital. She has cared for pets at Bayview as a general practitioner since 2004 and has been with Monroe Veterinary Associates since 2001.
A native of Webster, NY, Dr. Jones attended Hartwick College and graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Bachelor’s Degree in biology in 1997. She continued her veterinary education at the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine and was awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2001.
Dr. Jones is passionate about veterinary care and derives great satisfaction from keeping pets healthy. Senior pet care and dentistry are just two of her many professional interests. A member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the New York State Veterinary Medical Association, Dr. Jones is also an accredited veterinarian with the United States Department of Agriculture Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service.
Dr. Jones has two rescue cats, Simone and Sabrina. Her hobbies include kayaking, geocaching, ceramics and spending time with her family.
Sarah A. Gebbie, DVM
Dr. Gebbie's Bio
Dr. Sarah A. Gebbie is an associate veterinarian at Bayview Animal Hospital. She has cared for pets as a general practitioner since 2006, working at both Suburban Animal Hospital and East River Veterinary Hospital prior to Bayview.
Dr. Gebbie completed her undergraduate education in 2002 at the University of California, Los Angeles and received her Bachelor’s Degree in ecology, behavior and evolution, with a minor in classical civilization. She went on to attend the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine and was awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2006.
Soft tissue surgery is just one of her many professional interests. She also enjoys working with small mammals and exotics, including rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, rats, mice, hamsters and gerbils.
Dr. Gebbie has one dog named Sheba and two cats name Harry and Weasley. In her spare time, she enjoys singing with her band, boating, camping and spending time with her husband and two sons.
Danling Ye, DVM
Dr. Ye's Bio
Dr. Danling Ye is an associate veterinarian at Bayview Animal Hospital. She has cared for pets at Bayview since 2021. Dr. Ye grew up in Malvern, Pennsylvania. She attended the Pennsylvania State University, where she received her bachelor’s degree in Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences and a minor in French and Francophone Studies. After her undergraduate studies, she attended Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine, earning her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. During her time in veterinary school, she worked at the Tompkins County SPCA. She also volunteered at the Janet L. Swanson Wildlife Hospital and the Southside Healthy Pet Clinic. Dr. Ye’s professional interests include preventative medicine, surgery, and shelter medicine. In her spare time, Dr. Ye enjoys hiking, traveling, and eating at various local restaurants.

Before joining our team, she had already worked in the animal care industry for 15 years! Jeannine is licensed by the NY DEC as a wildlife rehabilitator and has devoted 25 years to helping animals in need. At home, Jeannine lives with her husband, Ken, to who she’s been married for over 30 years! She also has two sons, two wonderful daughters-in-law, and 4 grandchildren. Her fur baby family consists of Buster – a Boston Terrier, Mojo and Ellaboth Chihuahuas, and 4 Domestic Shorthair cats named Smudge, Brooklyn, Archie, and Willy.
In her free time, Jeannine enjoys spending time at her cottage where she boats and takes in the warm, summer weather. Summer is a very busy time for wildlife, so it’s also when she usually raises and releases orphaned babies. Jeannine also volunteers for various animal rescue organizations and has fostered baby kittens!
